After a wildfire destroyed the Village of Lytton in

June 30, 2021, I was asked by the Province of BC to help advise Village Council and help coordinate the recovery effort which had stalled.

Over the past two years, I have had the privilege of working with a number of local governments as their interim CAO. These Summerland, Grand Forks, Greenwood, Revelstoke and West Kelowna.

R.L. Mattiussi Advisory Service specializes in council workshops with a particular focus on the planning process and housing. Partnering with Innova Strategy Group, we conducted over nine council/board orientation sessions following the recent elections.

The Erganian Family Trust hired R.L. Mattiussi  Advisory Services Inc. to review their project and how the City of Fresno, California was dealing with their application.

Working with my firm, Innova Strategy Group, we have conducted two recent reviews in Revelstoke, Quesnel and Lake Country. Our area of focus is Planning Departments and how to improve service delivery.

All municipalities find themselves short of resources to get their obligatory requirements done. When setting priorities as a new Council it's important to start from a values-based perspective and work with staff to set realistically achievable priorities. Upcoming throughout BC.
